WESTLAND, Mich. - Ford has announced that they will be debuting the 2015 Ford Mustang in December - four months earlier than originally planned - but if it's up to Mustang fans, Ford will only be revealing a car that's old news. First, a computer generated image (like the one above) surfaced after one Mustang fan created a digital representation of the pony car based on the prototypes seen driving around Michigan. Now, the 2015 Ford Mustang specs have leaked, giving all Mustang lovers a peak at what's under the hood.
According to a report on Car and Driver, the 2015 Ford Mustang will have the same engine options as what is in the current model - a 3.7-liter V6 and a "Coyote" 5.0-liter V8. The power ratings are supposed to remain the same as well, with the V6 producing 305HP and 420HP for the V8. The transmissions will most likely remain the same, with a choice of a six speed manual or six speed automatic, although, a ten speed automatic is believed to be in the works.
The engine choices aren't expected to remain the same for too long though, since a GT badged 5.0 liter that will produce 500 HP will be added to the mix.
The technology options are the only aspect of the vehicle to have not been leaked, leaving the Mustang world guessing as to what will be made available in this 50th anniversary model. Thankfully, we won't have to guess for too long since December is right around the corner! Until then, the 2015 Ford Mustang specs that have leaked will hold us over.

Ford Tests Car That Can Park By Itself
WESTLAND, Mich. - Ford tested a car that can park by itself in Belgium this week, experimenting with the technology that would allow your vehicle to navigate itself into a tight spot - with or without you behind the wheel.
The technology, better known as Fully Assisted Parking Aid, uses ultrasonic sensors to scan the area for parking spaces up to 18 mph. That means, as you're cruising through a parking ramp or down a side street looking for a parking space, your vehicle is already scoping out the area for you. The car will then alert the driver to a space, giving you enough time to stop and not bypass it.
After you and your vehicle have located a space, you will put your car into neutral and then push a parking button - from inside the car or outside via the keyfob. The vehicle would then take over for you and control the steering, acceleration, braking and guidance systems until it has moved itself into the space - this works for both diagonal and perpendicular parking.
Ford currently offers an Active Park Assist technology on its vehicles, which helps you steer the wheel into parallel parking spaces. The only difference is that the driver must still apply the gas and brakes. The Fully Assisted Parking Aid would have complete control when parking, giving you the option to make your vehicle do all of the work.
Ford is currently testing cars that can park by themselves, but aren't releasing a ton of information just yet. This means that the Fully Assisted Parking Aid technology hasn't been linked to any specific Ford vehicle just yet, but the Active Park Assist is available in numerous current models. If you'd like to discover which ones, or even take one of our New Ford Cars or New Ford Trucks out for a test drive, come see us! Our knowledgeable sales team would be more than happy to help you with any of your vehicle needs - from Car Loans to Used Car Value to test drives.

2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty Gets an Update
WESTLAND, Mich. - Ford Motor Company works hard to continually improve its vehicles - America's favorite truck, the Ford F-Series, is no exception. The 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty gets an update with a second-generation 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine; a Texas-inspired King Ranch model; and increased towing capabilities.
The 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine has been redeveloped to improve performance. This updated engine now has a shorter airflow from the exhaust system to the turbocharger - this provides the driver with torque more quickly. They have also repositioned the turbo inside the engine's valley to help isolate the engine's hot temperatures. This will improve performance and efficiency, as well as reduce noise and vibration.
The increased towing capabilities have not been officially announced, although Ford has confirmed that the numbers will be more impressive than the 2014 model. They have also confirmed that the engine will produce more power than the current 400 hp and 800 lb.-ft. of torque.
As for the Texas-inspired King Ranch model, most of the changes are aesthetic in nature. The Super Duty King Ranch will now have a 'W' on the wheel caps, stitched into the seatbacks, and made clearly visible on the center console. The exterior accent color will also be darker and the Mesa leather inside the car will be lighter.
