Countries Abroad Are Getting A Taste of American Muscle With The 2015 Mustang

WESTLAND, Mich. – Countries abroad are getting a taste of American muscle with the 2015 Mustang as, for the first time in Ford’s history, the car is being mass-exported oversees! What is interesting about this is the ability to see the preferences of the car from different countries around the world, like color for example. The top mustang colors around the globe vary, depending on the country.

Here in the United States, “Absolute Black” is the most popular choice, bucking the United States’ national trend of white being the top color choice for vehicles. “Magnetic Metallic” follows “Absolute Black”, and the third most requested color choice is “Ruby Red”.

The infamous pony car will go on sale in Europe later on this year, and sales have already begun recently in China. In Europe, “Race Red” leads the way in regards to color preference, and that also rings true in China as well, where 35% of orders specify “Race Red”. “Deep Impact Blue” is the third most popular color option in Europe, with the color being especially popular in United Kingdom and Italy.

Countries abroad are getting a taste of American muscle with the 2015 Mustang, with the new model becoming available in more than 100 markets. Some models are being configured with right side drive, and they are headed to the UK, Australia, and South Africa. Currently the Mustang is built at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant, and the company has stated that more exports abroad will equal more jobs here stateside.

Iconic Pony Car Inspires Limited Edition OPI Nail Polish Line

WESTLAND, Mich - Mustang-loving ladies, you're going to LOVE this special combination! Ford Motor Company and OPI Products Inc. have announced today that the iconic pony car has inspired a limited edition OPI Nail Polish line, that is set to launch in July. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and executive vice president, stated just how thrilled the company is to partner with one of the world's top automotive companies.

With the 50th year anniversary of the Ford Mustang approaching this April, OPI couldn't help but be inspired by the sophistication, luxury, power, and style that the pony car represents. The nail polish line colors will showcase all of these elements, most specifically with the hero shade "Race Red" which tributes the Mustang's most iconic color. Mustang marketing manager, Melanie Banker, says that the feelings of working with OPI are mutual and "that there is really no better way to express the Mustang's bold personality and the excitement it creates than through color".
