Not to mention the other engines, which will help you achieve maximum efficiency with a best in-class 26 mpg highway with the 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 engine.

F-150 trucks equipped with the 5.0 liter V8, which is a normally aspirated engine with direct injection, will get the best in-class payload capacity of 3,270 lbs and an additional 13 lb-feet of torque. The 2018 F-150 engines are the most diverse offering yet, and were built to deliver just what each and every type of pickup driver would need.

Ford Creates 800 Jobs, Invests $350 Million in Livonia Plant

WESTLAND, Mich.,–– In an effort to protect its core business, Ford has begun investing in its transmission plant in Livonia, Michigan. The push to increase fuel-efficient vehicles and build upon the job market in America has allowed Ford to create 800 jobs and invest $350 million in a plant. New investments in Michigan are expected to continue as time goes on, with this most recent investment in Livonia being one of the largest.

The jobs will come into effect by the end of the year, with the vast majority of them taking place through 2019. 

“We remain committed to American manufacturing and investing in our people and facilities,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president, The Americas. “Even as the industry’s largest employer of hourly workers in the United States and biggest producer of American-made vehicles, we believe it is important to continue investing right here in our home market.”

The new plant will be producing new, innovative transmission systems for front-wheel drive vehicles. This will allow EcoBoost to be implemented in larger vehicles like the F-150, which will increase gas mileage for those respective vehicles. Partnering with UAW, the additions to the plant will create jobs for 800 new employees. This will greatly increase the size of the plant, which already houses 1,800 employees. 

With Ford creating 800 jobs and investing $350 million into the Livonia plant, the future of Michigan and Ford's relationship looks brighter by the minute. WESTLAND, Mich.- The Ford Focus was the Best Selling Car in the world for 2012, beating out the Toyota Corolla based on data just issued by R.L. Polk data. The Ford Focus ranked as the best selling car in China and sales topped 1 million vehicles worldwide!

The Ford Focus beat out all of its competition in 2012! The Focus was named the Best Selling Car in the world and sold over 1.1 million vehicles worldwide. The team at Ford has revved things up a notch with the 2013 Ford Focus ST. The Focus ST has a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 252 horses and 270 lb.-ft of torque. The fuel economy of the vehicle is quite impressive, getting 32 mpg on the highway 23 mpg in the city. Ford Makes Impressive Technological Advances With Ford Atlas

WESTLAND, Mich.- Ford Motor Company makes some impressive technological advances with the Ford Atlas Concept Truck, released at the 2013 North American Auto Show in Detroit this past January. The Atlas is one of the first steps in Ford’s updated strategy for their line of trucks, which is to smarten them up, refine them, and add some clever technological advancements. The Atlas represents where Ford is headed in the pickup truck category and we are looking forward to seeing more of this concept truck!

           

The Ford Atlas is powered by a twin-turbo, EcoBoost 3.5 liter V-6 engine, which is emissions friendly and more fuel-efficient than competitors. It is also equipped with a fuel-saving transmission. The Atlas features rugged, yet aerodynamic styling coupled with a bundle of technological touches that make it a more efficient vehicle. Several of the new tech features are designed to improve fuel economy; for instance, the Atlas features a start-stop feature that actually shuts the vehicle down if stopped in traffic. Also, the active grille shutters and a drop-down front air dam improve the vehicle's aerodynamics, helping you to save even more at the pump. The package of fuel efficient features included in the vehicle are expected to boost the mpg to levels not previously possible in the truck category. 

 

One of the more advanced technologies that has been integrated into the Ford Atlas is the Intelligent Assess system, which automatically unlocks the vehicle's doors and the tailgate once the owner approaches. The vehicle also features Dynamic Hitch Assist, which uses the vehicle's camera to allow the driver to align the ball and hitch. Leaked Photos 2015 Ford Mustang

Photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang prototype have been spreading around the net after seemingly being leaked. The digital community has now had the opportunity to glimpse at the new sixth-generation design concept, which appears to combine some of the original Mustang styling with a rounded and more compact modernistic look.

The photos in question are of several unfinished clay models that easily could be the 2015 muscle car; featuring a design that seems on par with the design team that revamped the Fusion and won Best Styling at the Brand Image Awards. Another source of curiosity is how the vehicle will be powered—Ford Motor Company announced they will be selling the Mustang in Europe and this has opened the door to a discussion of a possible EcoBoost 4-cylinder Mustang. Bloggers speculate that a 6-cylinder will be the basic package and that the 4-cylinder would only be offered in Europe, if it is at all. The  2015 Ford Mustang will hit the market in 2014, with a good chance that the unveiling will be coordinated with Ford's 50th Anniversary of the Mustang in April 2014.
