As part of the ongoing initiative, Mayor Wild challenged city departments to lower their carbon footprints and the Westland Police Department committed to the cause by investing in a new green and efficient patrol fleet from North Brothers Ford! And let us just say, we were so honored to have been able to help the city achieve greater sustainability with vehicles powered by E-85 that are more fuel efficient and produce less tailpipe emissions while still featuring the latest in technology!
Praising their new efficient fleet made up of 20 E-85 powered patrol vehicles – 8 new Ford Explorer SUVs and 12 new Ford Taurus sedans – Mayor Wild presented the police department with Westland's Mission: Green EcoFriendly Award!
