2015 Ford Mustang Specs Leak

2015 Ford Mustang Specs Leak
WESTLAND, Mich. - Ford has announced that they will be debuting the 2015 Ford Mustang in December - four months earlier than originally planned - but if it's up to Mustang fans, Ford will only be revealing a car that's old news. First, a computer generated image (like the one above) surfaced after one Mustang fan created a digital representation of the pony car based on the prototypes seen driving around Michigan. Now, the 2015 Ford Mustang specs have leaked, giving all Mustang lovers a peak at what's under the hood.

According to a report on Car and Driver, the 2015 Ford Mustang will have the same engine options as what is in the current model - a 3.7-liter V6 and a "Coyote" 5.0-liter V8. The power ratings are supposed to remain the same as well, with the V6 producing 305HP and 420HP for the V8. The transmissions will most likely remain the same, with a choice of a six speed manual or six speed automatic, although, a ten speed automatic is believed to be in the works.

The engine choices aren't expected to remain the same for too long though, since a GT badged 5.0 liter that will produce 500 HP will be added to the mix.

The technology options are the only aspect of the vehicle to have not been leaked, leaving the Mustang world guessing as to what will be made available in this 50th anniversary model. Thankfully, we won't have to guess for too long since December is right around the corner! Until then, the 2015 Ford Mustang specs that have leaked will hold us over.

If you'd like to check out the current Ford Mustang model, stop by our Southgate Area Ford Dealership! We have a great selection of New Ford Cars, New Ford Trucks, and Certified Pre-owned Cars For Sale - all of which have great technology features! So stop on by and let us help you into a vehicle you'll love.

2015 Ford Mustang Spotted With a New Face

2015 Ford Mustang Spotted With a New Face
WESTLAND, Mich. - The 2015 Ford Mustang has been spotted with a new face - and it's a great one. Out for a test run, the pony car was seen with a few of its heavy covers off, allowing for photographers to get a great shot of the new 'Stang's face.

While the rest of the 2015 Mustang's body was camouflaged, the front fascia was completely visible. It's clear that Ford is getting inspiration from the Evos concept and the retro lines of the 2014 Mustang model, since the pony car's face seems to be an equal mixture of both. Despite the inspiration being obvious, with its menacing lines the 2015 Ford Mustang's face is much more aggressive than its predecessor.

While the 2015 Ford Mustang has been spotted with a new face, information about this car is scarce. An insider recently revealed that the dimensions of the car are going to change drastically, as it will be 15 inches shorter in length and a half foot narrower. By making the vehicle smaller, the vehicle is expected to shed about 400 pounds.

As for how the vehicle will perform, it is believed that the 2015 Mustang will come standard with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine, while the 2015 Ford Mustang GT will receive an upgraded 5.0-liter V-8. For other specifications, we'll all have to wait until further information is released, or the vehicle is unveiled at the Ford Mustang's 50th anniversary next year. However, we do have a complete list of specifications for the 2014 Ford Mustang, which is for sale on our lot right now. Stop by our Dearborn Area Ford Dealer today and take it for a test drive - we know you'll love being behind the pony car's wheel.

Limited Edition 2014 Ford Mustang GT Joins Hertz Rental Fleet
WESTLAND, Mich. - Inspired by the recent partnership of Penske Racing and Hertz, a limited edition 2014 Ford Mustang GT has joined the Hertz Rental fleet. Designed to resemble the Penske Racing cars that compete in NASCAR, this vehicle will give customers a taste of what it feels like to be  behind the wheel of a racing machine.

Although it looks very similar to 2014 Ford Mustang that will be available for purchase by the public, it has a few upgrades and modifications that make it stand apart.  The 2014 Mustang, officially called the Hertz Penske GT, has a new intake and exhaust, a reprogrammed computer for the 5.0-liter V-8 engine, and Brembo brakes. It also has a more aggressive final drive ratio and a stiffer suspension.

As for the interior of the car, the Hertz GT has Recaro bucket seats, limited edition plaques, Hertz floor mats and MyFord Touch with navigation and backup camera. The yellow racing stripe on the outside of the car is another feature that sets it apart from other Mustang GTs. This limited edition 2014 Ford Mustang GT that has joined the Hertz Rental fleet is available to rent at select airports, for customers looking to rent a high-end rental car from Hertz's Dream Car list.

2014 Roush Performance Mustang Line Up
WESTLAND, Mich.- While the Internet has been abuzz with rumors speculating what the next generation Ford Mustang will look like and offer performance wise, nothing has been confirmed yet. However, we do have some details on the last production year of the current Mustang platform since Roush Performance just announced their 2014 Mustang lineup! Production of the 2014 Ford Mustang is well underway and Roush announced that this year they will offer more models than ever before!

The 2014 Roush Performance Mustang Line Up will literally offer something for everyone, at every level of desired performance. Take the mild approach with the Roush Mustang V6 or put the pedal to the metal with the Stage 3 Mustang. Specifically, the Roush RS V6 Mustang will be equipped with the 3.7-liter DOHC V6 offering 305 horsepower and will achieve the signature Roush look with visual enhancements like the aero body kit, Roush wheels, and interior ugrades. The same visual upgrades will be applied to the Roush Stage 1 which is based off the Mustang GT with a 5.0-liter 420 horsepower engine. It's not until you step up to the Stage 2 that suspension hardware is added to improve handling.

The 2014 Mustang Line Up top model will of course be Roush Performance's Stage 3 Mustang with a ground pounding 575 supercharged horsepower as well as increased handling and braking. The Stage 3 offers a full warranty which overlays the Ford warranty with Roush's own 3 year/36,000 mile full powertrain warranty. New for 2014, the RS3 will offer a step up engine option. Roush has partnered with Ford Racing to offer the "Aluminator" forged engine. The "Aluminator" engine will allow you to install the Phase 2 supercharger with an impressive 625 horsepower or the insane Phase 3 supercharger with 675 horsepower!
