“That little strip of tape made all the difference,” said Mike Del Zio, Ford Vehicle Dynamics Engineer. “The key to the subjective is confidence. At the end of a straightaway, what confidence do you have in being able to brake and make a turn? Things start to come up fast at 155 miles an hour.”

WESTLAND, Mich. –What’s the best way to fight cancer? With speed, and Ford Motor Co. is doing just that by auctioning a 2016 Shelby GT350R Mustang, which goes zero to 60 mph in four seconds, to raise funds for the American Cancer Society at the Cattle Baron’s Ball Auction on September 26, 2015.

The Mustang is unique among others, designed specifically for this awareness and fundraising event, and showcases unique features made possible by a large group of suppliers who provided materials and time needed to build such a magnificent Mustang. Some of the standout features include:
