Ford and King Ranch's Celebration of 15 Successful Years

WESTLAND, Mich - Ford and King Ranch's Celebration of 15 Successful Years involved paying tribute to an outstanding partnership between the automotive company and iconic ranch in Kingsville, Texas. King Ranch's infamous reputation for cattle ranching, farming, commodity marketing and processing, luxury retail goods, and recreational hunting, was built on the same philosophies on which Ford builds its trucks: quality, authenticity, integrity, and toughness. Since 1999, the two companies have been partnered together and have aided to each others success over the past 15 years.

In celebration of 15 wonderful years, Ford and King Ranch captured the essence of the relationship with photos by Texas state photographer, Wyman Meinzer. With these photos comes the debut of the latest Ford F-150, F-Series Super Duty and Expedition King Ranch® models. The latest King Ranch trio and Meinzer's photos will be shown at a special exhibit at the 2014 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 4th through the 23rd.

Today, King Ranch is known as one of the most genuine landmarks in Texas - the perfect place to capture shots of the latest Ford trucks. Meinzer, a born and raised Texas cowboy, used his experience to create a beautiful, authentic photo shoot that represents the King Ranch and Ford trucks perfectly. He understood the nature of the King Ranch vehicles and was able to present them in conditions that people would really see on the ranch. To develop the ultimate King Ranch models, it was important that Ford color and materials designer, Aileen Barraza, visit the iconic ranch.
