Labor Day Weekend Events and Activities in Southeast Michigan

WESTLAND, Mich.––If you're planning on sticking around this Holiday weekend, you might be looking for something to do other than relaxing at home. This time of year is particularly exciting because the kids are going back to school and fall weather is headed our way. While the weather is still nice, there's plenty of fun to be had with endless events to go to and things to do. We've created a list of Labor Day weekend events and activities in Southeast Michigan that you can use to plan your last 3 day weekend of the summer. 1. Arts, Beats & Eats in Royal Oak, MI

Michigan's best music, food, and art all in one place is what Art, Beats & Eats is about. It goes Friday through Sunday 11:00am-11:00pm, and has a low cover fee of $5 and under (free for kids under 3yrs). There's plenty to do and see like live music, rides, a kids area, great food, amazing art, and more. Not to mention it's all hosted and sponsored by Ford!

2. Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly, MI

Go get lost in the 16th Century Renaissance, right in Holly! There's not only daily entertainment at the festival like music, food, and performances, but special events, too. You can buy tickets on the website for all exclusive daily events like Pig N' Swig, Feast of Fantasy, Royal High Tea, and more. Plus they feature fun themed weekends. Make sure to buy your tickets online or at a partner for a discount. It's happening on weekends now through October 2nd from 10:00am-7:00pm.

3. Michigan Peach Festival in Romeo, MI

Enjoy Michigan's cream of the crop in festival fare with local concessions, a car show, a fun run 5/10k, arts and craft shows, and more! There's plenty of parking and fun for the kids. The Peach Festival is happening from Thursday Sept. 1st through Sunday Sept. 4th!

4. Fifth Third Michigan State Fair in Novi, MI

This is an awesome family fun event! You'll get to see livestock exhibits, agricultural booths, Michigan made products, and a parade. Not to mention there will be delicious food and drink available throughout. The State Fair is happening Thursday Sept. 1st to Monday Sept. 5th from 10:00am-10:00pm, and to 9:00pm on Monday.
