WESTLAND, Mich. - The 2015 Ford Edge has been spotted cruising around the outskirts of Detroit recently, giving residents a sneak peek at what's to come for the popular crossover.
Although it's heavily camouflaged, the Ford Edge is easily recognizable by its size, wide stance, and signature three-bar grille - although the grill is looking more three-dimensional than the last model. As for the rest of the Edge's exterior, not much can be said with the thick covering. However, it is believed that the 2015 model won't be updated too drastically in the looks department.
As for the performance of the 2015 Ford Edge that was spotted, the current Edge's V6 engine and turbo-four options are expected to carry over. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost four works well with the current Ford Edge, allowing the crossover to produce 240HP while improving fuel economy drastically. The 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 285HP and 253 lb-ft of torque.
Fortunately, we'll only have to wait another month or so to get all of the specifics on this 2015 Ford Edge. This is because Ford is expected to reveal the redesigned model at the L.A. auto show! Until then, stop by our Southgate Area Ford Dealership today and check out the current model on our lot.
