WESTLAND, Mich.- Just a few months before the 150th anniversary of the birth of Henry Ford, you can get a glimpse of this automotive innovator's life this Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Tuesday, the PBS Series "American Experience" will feature a psychological biography of Henry Ford at 9pm. This Henry Ford Documentary takes a different approach than the typical rise to fame story.
Automotive legend, Henry Ford, was born in 1863 and grew up on a farm in Dearborn, MI. However, the Henry Ford Documentary on PBS will reveal that, though a visionary, he was complicated on an epic scale. Sarah Colt, director and producer of the documentary, noted that creating the film was like peeling back the layers of an onion. In an effort to understand the emotional element of Henry Ford, she felt as if his life was very Shakespearian in some ways.
Catch the Henry Ford Documentary Tuesday 1/29 to discover the complexity of Ford's life as he rose to fame and helped forge the road map for life in the 20th Century.
