Mustang Models You'll Want to Know

WESTLAND, Mich.–– If the purr of an engine, the smell of burning rubber, or feeling of the pedal to the floor excites you then you'll want to know the Ford Mustang. The Mustang is an iconic muscle car built all-american by an iconic car company. We're here to help you with all your Mustang needs, so we've highlighted the Mustang models you'll want to know.

The first generation Mustang was born out of the mid 60's, 1962, where Ford catered to the Baby Boomers' vehicle desires. The first Mustang rolled off the assembly line on March 9th, 1964 and the first round of production is lovingly nicknamed 64 1/2 while the second round of production that started August 17th are technically 1965's. The 64 1/2 had a chrome grille, carpeting throughout the interior, standard front bucket seats, and was available in 3-speed, 4-speed, or automatic with 3 engine options reaching a max 210 Horsepower. Much has changed since then as you can see by the model specs below.
