WESTLAND, Mich.- Rumor has it that Ford Motor Company has a litte surprise in the works for the North American International Auto Show coming to Detroit this January! Reuters reports that the New Ford F-150 May Debut at Detroit's Auto Show! But this isn't just the debut of a new Ford F-150, this surprise reveal would be the concept for Ford's radically redesigned 2015 F-150. It is said that this concept will revolutionize the half-ton segment.The 2015 Ford F-150 is expected to have re-engineered components like axles and brakes while also making extensive use of aluminum throughout the body in an effort to cut 700-750 pounds. Ford is aiming to improve fuel efficiency by 3mpg which would be a 15% increase over the most fuel efficient Ford F-150 currently available. Although you may get a sneak peek of Ford's new concept F-150 at the Detroit Auto Show, it probably won't go into production until late 2014.
