Lee National Denim Day was started in 1996 by the well-known company Lee Jeans. The company's employees realized that each of them had been touched by breast cancer and knew it was time they do something to help all of those who have been affected. The way the event works is participants donate money in exchange for wearing jeans to work, school, or other places. Since its start 19 years ago, this nationwide fundraiser has raised over $91 million for the fight against breast cancer!
