Netflix Comedy Shows Worth Binging On This Winter

Master of None

With only two seasons and episodes full of Aziz Ansari's humor and many relatable moments  through his endeavors to make it to a relationship, this is an easy show to binge in a weekend. 

The Office

If you haven't watched the Office before, it's definitely time you do! The shows follows the lives of the employees of Dunder Mifflin, a paper company, and their office antics at their branch in Scranton, PA. You'll fall in love with each character including Michael Scott, Pam Beasley, Jim Halpert, and Dwight Schrute to name a few, throughout the 9 seasons on Netflix. 

Bojack Horseman

This comedy follows the life and mishaps of a former 90's sitcom star, Bojack, in none other than Los Angeles. Bojack's self loathing and constant struggle to find love and good acting work, along with his hilarious animal and human friends in tow, makes for easily-digestible humor. If you loved Family Guy or American Dad, you'll like Bojack. 

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

As Kimmy Schmidt is rescued from her doomsday cult life underground and re-emerges into the world, she must learn to adapt to modern life in New York. Her naivety, positive attitude, and new quirky friends are fun to follow through the three seasons available. If you liked 30 Rock, you'll love Unbreakable. 

Arrested Development

This comedy, once aired on Fox, follows the Bluth's, a wealthy family that once was at the top of the chain in Orange County, CA. When their father is imprisoned and their real-estate business comes to a halt, hilarity ensues. You can follow the spoiled and strange family members throughout the 

Portlandia

This sketch comedy show is co-produced by SNL's Fred Armisen. He and Carrie Brown take the form of many stereotypical Portland, OR citizens throughout the 7 seasons available on Netflix, alongside fun cameos from actors like Jeff Goldblum. You'll find many quotable moments and a few musical numbers that you'll want stuck in your head. 

Parks and Recreation 

This show offers Amy Poehler playing a perky and motivated bureaucrat in a small town Parks Department with her interesting team along for the ride to beautify Pawnee. Leslie Knope will give you hope while Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, Chris Pratt, more will make you laugh through the 7 seasons.
