Saleen Answers The Challenge Made By The HellCat With The 730 Horsepower Ford Mustang

Saleen Answers The Challenge Made By The HellCat With The 730 Horsepower Ford Mustang
WESTLAND, Mich. – With the recent release of the Dodge Hellcat and its 707 horsepower engine, everyone’s expectations for what a factory muscle car was capable of at a reasonable price, has been blown out of the water! The Camaro could not answer, and there was no other American muscle car that could compete with the new Hellcat, until now! Saleen answers the challenge made by the HellCat with the 730 horsepower Ford Mustang! This new all-American muscle car packs a wallop!

Saleen has been working and releasing its version of the Ford Mustang for years, and has focused on many muscle cars including Challengers, Camaros, and even the occasional Tesla. Most recently however, the Ford Mustang has taken center stage with the company. Saleen answers the challenge made by the HellCat with the 730 horsepower Ford Mustang, which has retained Ford’s 5.0 liter Coyote V8, but has been supplemented with a twin-screw supercharger! This adds a staggering 600 pound-feet of torque to its impressive horsepower number when the vehicle is running on 91-octane gasoline. Saleen has also fitted the model with 15-inch brake rotors up front, which gives some stopping power balance to the supercharged engine.

Sven Etzelberger, Saleen Automotive's VP of Engineering, stated, “From the beginning of the project, we have always known that we wanted to create the most powerful production Mustang we have ever built. I can happily say that we have accomplished this goal with great success.”

At North Brothers Ford in Westland, the Mustang has been and always will be, one of favorite models! North Brothers Ford is located at 33300 Ford Rd Westland, MI 48185, and is proud to be one of the premier dealerships in Southeast Michigan committed to exceptional customer service!
