Yes you read that right, Ford just debuted the ultra-high-performance GT as one of more than 12 new Ford Performance vehicles expected to hit the market by 2020!

With advances in light-weighting, aerodynamics, and efficiency, this GT beauty is a technology showcase! Under the hood is the most powerful production EcoBoost engine ever made! The 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine boasts 600+ HP! But as Bill Ford told reporters at the Detroit Auto Show, "You don't buy this car for fuel economy." While the new GT is built with a lot of fuel-saving technology, it's definitely more about performance.

The new Ford GT performance car debut is all about remembering the company's history. While today's performance vehicles are built in laboratories, Ford isn't about to forget that their first innovation was built on the track.
