New Ford Motor Company Fireworks Partnership with The Parade Company

WESTLAND, Mich.- Ford has a longstanding history with The Parade Company, and became the official vehicle of America's Thanksgiving Parade in 2011 with its featured float "Driving A Brighter Future." The newest Ford Motor Company Partnership with The Parade Company shows the automaker's continued support and makes one of the nation's largest fireworks displays possible! The Ford Fireworks presented by Target is a free world-class event in Detroit sponsored by by Ford Motor Company and supported by Target!

Celebrating the 55th year of the event, the Ford Fireworks will light up the sky Downtown Detroit on Monday, June 24th, at 10:06 pm with views of the Detroit River! With more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects to be featured, this is definitely one of the most anticipated nights this summer that is expected to attract crowds totaling hundreds of thousands.

In conjunction with Ford's partnership with The Parade Company to celebrate our independence and freedom, the automaker will also kick off a community campaign to honor veterans and those who serve in the armed forces, those who make our freedom possible. The campaign will kick off on June 1st in partnership with Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarships to children and spouses of the military who were killed or severely injured in the line of duty. Ford Motor Company will match contributions made by the public and funds will be distributed to military families in Michigan! Plus, on the night of the fireworks, Ford will pass out postcards for attendees to send messages to our active military personnel overseas!
